Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 ripe bananas
- 80 g cane sugar
- 8 cl of liquid cream
- 8 cl of sunflower oil (or 80 g of melted butter)
- 1 tsp liquid vanilla
- 220 g of T45 or T55 flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 120 g crushed walnuts
- 2 pinches of salt
Preparation
On a plate, mash 2 bananas with a fork until pureed.
Cut the 3rd banana in half lengthwise.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the cane sugar
.
Add the liquid cream and liquid vanilla. Whisk.
Add the sunflower oil and salt then whisk together.
Add the mashed banana. Mix.
Add flour and baking powder. Mix.
Add the crushed walnuts to the cake batter. Mix.
Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake tin.
Place the 2 pieces of banana on the cake batter in a harmonious way.
Then decorate with a few walnut kernels.
Bake the cake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.
Check the doneness of the banana bread by inserting the tip of a knife into the dough and if it comes out smooth, it's done.
Let the cake cool down before unmolding it.
