Ingredients
Ingredients (for 4 people)
- 8 slices of cereal bread
- 2 apples
- 1 camembert
- A little soft butter
Preparation
Butter the slices of bread on one side only.
Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core, and then cut them into slices, without removing the skin.
Put them on a plate, cover them with plastic wrap, pierce a hole then cook the apples for about 2 minutes in a microwave oven, until tender.
Cut the Camembert into slices.
Cover half of the slices of bread with the cooked apples then the slices of camembert and cover with the rest of the slices. Press the croques then remove the crust (optional).
Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat. Butter the top of each croque then place them on the pan or grill, buttered side down.
Butter the tops of the croques.
When the bread is toasted and the cheese slightly melted, turn the croques over and continue cooking, until the bread is golden brown.
