A very generous cake with large pieces of apple


Ingredients

- 1 kg of apples⁠

- 4 eggs⁠

- 120 g brown cane sugar or brown sugar⁠

- 200g butter⁠

- 250 g of flour⁠

- 1/2 packet of baking powder⁠

- 1 vanilla pod⁠

Preparation


Peel the apples cut them into quarters, remove the core, and then cut each quarter in half to have large pieces.⁠

In a bowl, whisk the whole eggs, add the sugar and whisk again.⁠

Add melted butter, whisk, add flour, and baking powder and whisk starting from the center.⁠

Add the seeds from the split and scraped vanilla pod and whisk.⁠

Add the apple pieces and mix with a spatula.⁠

Pour the dough into a buttered and floured mold and bake at 170°C for about forty minutes.⁠

Unmold your still-warm cake on a wire rack
